When you purchase an Emaar Gift Card from any of our Guest Service Desks, the minimum load amount is AED 50 per Gift Card and maximum load amount is AED 37,500 per gift card.

Yes, all Emaar Gift Cards have to be activated prior to use.
All recipients of Emaar Gift Cards are required to activate their Emaar Gift Card. You will be required to register an account (or log in to your existing account if you have already registered an account previously) and then activate the Emaar Gift Card against your account. Your Emaar Gift Card will then be ready to use and spend at any of the locations listed above. Within the portal you will be able to manage your Emaar Gift Card including checking your balance, retrieving your Gift Card PIN number and also marking your Emaar Gift Card lost/stolen.
Your Emaar Gift Card is valid for a period of 12 months. The Emaar Gift Card will expire exactly one year from the purchase date.
Your Emaar Gift Card is used the same way as any other MasterCard product. Simply present your card to the retailer and enter your 4 digit PIN into the payment device or credit card machine. The Emaar Gift Card can be used as part payment for higher value purchases than the balance available on the Emaar Gift Card. The card can be used for multiple transactions until the balance has been fully spent or the Emaar Gift Card has expired.
There are a number of different ways you can check the balance of your Emaar Gift Card:
Your four digit Emaar Gift Card PIN code is included in the packaging of your Emaar Gift Card. You are able to retrieve your PIN code by clicking HERE and logging into your Emaar Gift Card Account.
The expiry date of the Gift Card can be found on the recipient receipt given with the card at time of purchase.

No. Emaar Gift Card is only designed for Point of Sale (POS) transactions in retailers within Emaar locations.
No. Emaar Gift Card cannot be used to withdraw cash from an ATM.
Most retailer refunds take up to 5 business (Sunday-Thursday) days to be applied to the balance of the Emaar Gift Card, depending on the retailers banking system, but can in some cases take longer. We regret that we have no influence over the speed of retailers banking systems.
If your PIN is entered incorrectly three (3) times when carrying out a transaction, your card will be blocked. You should contact our customer service team on +971(0)43630970 who will carry out security checks to verify that you are the genuine cardholder. The customer service team will unblock your Emaar Gift Card and you will then need to retrieve your PIN by loggin into your account HERE. It may take twenty-four hours from the time the customer service team unblock your Emaar Gift Card for it become available for further use.

There is a 90 days grace period for re-activation of Emaar Gift Cards with a balance greater than AED 15. There is a fee of AED 15 to reactivate your Emaar Gift Card which will be deducted from the available balance on the card at the time of activation.
The card is a gift card and funds will not be refunded to you once they have been loaded on the card. You can access the funds for Point of Sale (POS) transactions during the validity period and grace period, subject to successful re-activation.
If you have lost / had your Emaar Gift Card stolen you can log into your Emaar Gift Card Account and mark the card as lost/stolen. Alternatively, you can contact our customer service team on +971(0)43630970 who will be able to locate and block your Emaar Gift Card. In both scenarios you will be presented with a reference number to collect a replacement Emaar Gift Card at any Guest Services Desks within The Dubai Mall and The Dubai Marina Mall.
There is a fee of 15 AED to replace your Emaar Gift Card which will be deducted from the available balance on the card at the time of replacement.
